These lamps are part of the awarded Kabelvåg Plaza project. The artic light is a caracteristic of this project. The lamps are also a part of our design.

The Edvard Grieg Museum in Bergen opened in 1995. It has been presented in several architectual magazines. Museums are one of our specialties.

- CUBUS received in 2002 2 prestigous architectual awards.
- We are working with several projects which could be of international interest.
Our webpresentation is by the time being only in norwegian. Hopefully we will have english texted pages by the end of this spring. The pictures should though be "read" universally!

If you contact us (se "Kontakt" for direct mail contacts) - you will meet not only english speekers, but also people speeking more or less fluently german, french and spanish.

CUBUS is a 31-years old firm situated in Bergen - Norway´s second largest city. For many years CUBUS was seen as a leading representative of what was called "The Bergen School" in norwegian architecture. An approach to architecture based on crossprofessional knowledge, a more "holistic" analysis of buildingground/ the space focusing the users an the others most involved in the project. Ecological perspectives were early (from the 70s) included in the approach and practice.

The CUBUS´group includes today 20 architects (incl. 3 landscapearchitects) and planners. 13 are owners.

CUBUS won this year a second award in The European Landscape Architectural Prize 2002 for a "plaza" in Kabelvåg in northers Norway (The project is exclusivly presented in a book with english text!). CUBUS was also a winner of the highly ranked "Statens byggeskikkspris" which is a governmental prize for best architecture. CUBUS (and others) were awarded for public/urban spaces in Bergen.
